The Gift: motivation and mission
At the age of five years old, Sunday School opened the door of a gift never to be forgotten. Committed to carrying positive messages to heal nations, Glacia Robinson has performed in hospitals, prisons, schools, streets, churches and concert halls in Antigua, Belize, Canada, Cayman Islands, New Zealand and now the USA. Maturing in her gift Glacia admits, This level of awareness did not fall from the clouds. It was earned through life's pain, prayer and fasting.
The Music: lyrics, instrumentation, arrangements, selling and production.
Choosing to combine styles of folk, blues, country and gospel, Glacia makes her statement in a way that demands attention. The lyrics express LOVE for Mankind. Love became the most important thing in our family, she proudly acknowledges. Her powerful vocals and arrangements have been proven to pierce the core of any listener as her single Hold My Hand Today soared the charts to number one in the Caribbean and held that position for over six months. Glacia explains her inspiration; life itself has been my inspiration for my music. Music, continues to scroll in my thoughts while i sleep.
The artist: words to the world
Glacia Robinson wants nothing more than to continually seek her divine purpose in the world. Her sincerity has allowed her to sacrifice earthly luxury until the appointed time. Presently, she desires to remain faithful knowing that faith moves mountains. I never want to be somebody else or just a woman with words and melody, but rather a woman with a difference. She explains. I want to change all the world for the better, inspire hope in the hopeless, minister courage and strength to those saddened by the trials of life. As she pours out her heart thousands of Jamaicans are waiting desperately for soon to be released album We all have a perfect purpose in life. I, Glacia, am to minister to the world through music. Seek to know your purpose and then, fulfill it!
